Facebook has logged out iPhone users. Informs that “session has expired”

Facebook on iOS failed. iPhone users see “Session Expired”. The app then asks you to log in again.
Facebook had a slip-up that night. The iOS app has some bug that caused iPhone users to log out. You see the message “session has expired”, which you can find below. They are then asked to log in again. What is it caused by?
It’s hard to say where this error is due. Perhaps it lies on the servers of a popular social networking site. The problem can be quickly fixed because on the next screen you only have to touch the avatar icon and Facebook logs the user in again. However, some people who have an iOS app and use two-factor authentication report that they have trouble signing in again.
Error “session expired” only in the iOS Facebook app for iPhones
This issue only affects iPhone applications. Facebook on Android devices does not display such an error. The company acknowledged these inconveniences and said in a statement that it is working to restore the software to normal operation. Most likely, this error was caused by a configuration change, but the exact cause was not given.

Again, Several WhatsApp Phone Numbers Found in Google Search

Amidst the busy conversation of people regarding WhatsApp’s new policy which makes users obliged to share their data with Facebook, a problem has emerged that can be considered quite serious and concerns the privacy of WhatsApp users.
Because it is known that currently a number of WhatsApp users’ phone numbers can actually be found through the Google Search search engine service. This was revealed by a security researcher named Rajshekhar Rajaharia.
Through his Twitter account, Rajaharia said that he had found various WhatsApp phone numbers just by typing a special keyword on the Google Search search page.
It is known that the phone numbers that appear are mostly WhatsApp users who have already used WhatsApp Web or Desktop.
“January 15, 2021, If you use WhatsApp Web, your phone number will be indexed on Google again. It is not known why WhatsApp still does not monitor their website as well as Google,” wrote Rajaharia via his personal Twitter account.
Rajaharia also found a file called Robots.txt which WhatsApp created deliberately to avoid users’ phone numbers from being indexed by Google. However, it didn’t work at all.
It was also stated that this is the third time similar problems have occurred with WhatsApp. It is still unclear whether this was an error from WhatsApp or Google ignoring the Robots.txt file that WhatsApp created.

Who created the Signal Private Messenger App and why should it be used?

Surely in recent days, you have heard about the Signal Private Messenger app, which is known for its high levels of security. Of course, since it is an app that has become famous very recently, it is normal to be curious about it. In this opportunity, we will clarify for you what is related to Who created the Private Messenger App and why should it be used?
Who created the Signal Private Messenger app? – The story behind the app
The Signal Private Messenger application was created and launched by an American computer security specialist or hacker known by his pseudonym Moxie Marlinspike, in May 2010.
The history of Signal began to develop and take shape when in 2010 Moxie Marlinspike in collaboration with the robotics expert Stuart Anderson founded Whisper Systems and later in May of the same year they launched Signal, which was originally called TextSecure.
At first, TextSecure was a fairly simple messaging app, but it already had a pretty good encryption algorithm, which improved over time and is so much the case that Whisper Systems was acquired by Twitter on November 28, 2011.
After this, Marlisnpike decided to found the new Open Whispers Systems, which represents the essence of its apps, since they are all open source available to developers.
From that moment on, Moxie Marlinspike and his collaborators focused on improving the app and by 2015, it was not a simple messaging app, but the possibility of sending voice messages and encrypted attachments had also been incorporated.

By this time, TextSecure changes its name to Signal Private Messenger and is much closer to the great and secure app that we know today, which even today is still considered the most powerful end-to-end encryption.
It is so much so that, even WhatsApp adopted the same end-to-end encryption implemented in Signal and, in 2016, it began to collaborate with Open Whispers Systems on certain projects.
Why should Signal Private Messenger be used?
The purpose of Moxie Marlinspike when creating Signal Private Messenger, was to create a platform where people can communicate without being afraid of others intercepting their messages and/or calls, so Marlinspike with Signal achieved just that, preventing our privacy from being violated.
And it is so much so that, to use Signal, you only need to enter your phone number, which protects user information even from the app, since it keeps the amount of user data stored by the application to a minimum.
For those who still wonder what Signal is, at first glance, it is an ordinary messaging app: it has chat windows, you can call, send attachments, and emojis.
But, as simple as it may seem, behind all these high-security technology works, where encryption not only protects messages from hackers but also the app itself, guaranteeing that only the sender and receiver of the message will see it.
An interesting fact is that it has advanced settings beyond encryption, available to users, where they are allowed to set passwords to conversations, configure protection against screenshots, messages that self-destruct, and other security functions.
Aren’t all of these compelling reasons to use Signal, especially for lovers and advocates of technology security and privacy?
Well, if you want more reasons why you should use Signal, it is that many recognized people and entities have mentioned that they use it and even recommend its constant use.
For example, the renowned North American technology consultant Edward Snowden declared on Twitter that it is the app he uses every day, as well as renowned cryptographers such as Bruce Schneier and Matthew D. Green recommend it, and Signal is in fact the app used by employees of the European Union and some members of the American Democratic Party.
The truth is that many people are looking for alternatives to WhatsApp or want to know between Signal, Telegram, and WhatsApp which is better, but they must find out for themselves which one they like the most and is safer.
