GIFs have become popular in recent years. One of the great classics of the Internet that seemed forgotten long ago that came back stomping and are everywhere. They came to Twitter years ago, and now we can’t imagine the social network without them. We can also use them on Facebook or in our WhatsApp conversations. If you want to be original and have your own, you can create GIFs from Google Photos.

Google Photos has all kinds of exciting features that make it one of the most useful galleries for your smartphone. In most Android phones, Google Photos comes pre-installed, so you won’t even have to download the app on your mobile. Today we show you one new functions: make GIFs with your photos in Google Photos.

Where can you use the GIFs?

The majority of applications and social networks we use every day are compatible with GIFs. Apps like Twitter, for example, but also other social networks like Facebook and Instagram. Or messaging apps such as Telegram, WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. You can create your GIFs through Google Photos easily and in a few seconds. You can create the ones you want with images from your gallery or photos from the Internet.

How to create your GIFs

Once you have Google Photos on your mobile phone, you can start creating your GIFs. If not, download it for free from the Google Play Store, install it and grant the required permissions.

Once in Google Photos go to the Assistant section, and you will see that there are all kinds of options and creations: Album, Book Photos, Movie, Collage or Animation. Click on the latter to create your GIFs with Google Photos and with the images in your gallery. Remember to have the photos already downloaded if you want to make the GIF with captures of favourite series or movies, for example. Once you have them, go to Google Photos> Assistant> Animation.

From the Animation section, you can choose a minimum of two images and a maximum of fifty images — all of them you can choose from the ones you have in your gallery. Select a sequence of photos if you want it to appear that you are moving, for example, or select images that you like to present them all together in GIF format.

Once you have chosen the images to click on Create ? and automatically the animation will be done, and you will see it on the screen. Under it, you can find a share and delete button. If you don’t like it, delete the creation and make a new one.

You can create your GIF with Google Photos whenever you want, and with the duration, you want according to the number of photos you add. The more photos, the faster they will pass from one to another. The fewer photos, the longer they will last on the screen before moving on to the next one.

Google Threatens to Stop Its Search Engine Service in Australia, Why

Google has just announced that it is threatening the Australian government to stop its search engine services or search engines.

This was done by Google because it did not agree with new laws that have been issued by the Australian government where Google must pay news publishers for content displayed on Google Search.

Apart from Google, other technology companies such as Facebook are also entering and must comply with the new regulations. Then Google was the first and said that it did not agree.

“If this rule becomes law, we will have no choice but to stop Google Search services in Australia,” said Vice President of Google Australia and New Zealand, Meg Silva quoted from The Verge.

It states that Google was forced to decide this because they had no other choice and they also didn’t want to spend a lot of money just to comply with regulations in one country.

“It will bring things that we cannot sustain for this business, the digital economy, and do not fit the way search engines work,” Google continued.

Actually, Google has announced a program to pay a number of news publishers in Australia, Germany, and Brazil, but the Australian government thinks that this is still not enough so they make this law.

WhatsApp is increasingly anxious to be left by the user, now advertises in newspapers

India, which is one of the largest WhatsApp user countries in the world, is busy deleting WhatsApp and switching to rival applications such as Signal and Telegram.

Indeed WhatsApp has finally postponed its new privacy policy, but it seems that this is not enough to stem user migration.

Most recently, WhatsApp has advertised in newspapers to convince its users that they care about user privacy.

WhatsApp spent a lot of money to advertise in 10 newspapers that speak English and Hindi.

“WhatsApp respects and protects your privacy. Respect for your privacy is embedded in our DNA” reads the WhatsApp ad.

WhatsApp has clarified that its data-sharing policy with Facebook does not affect the privacy of messages sent by users.

Encryption continues and WhatsApp until Facebook can’t read the messages sent. WhatsApp’s actions to advertise are actually quite reasonable.

Facebook has an estimated $5.7 billion investment in India so there is no way they will let it drift for nothing.

Such an investment is aimed at boosting digital transactions for MSMEs in India. WhatsApp has also received government permission to launch WhatsApp Pay.
