Microsoft always finds ways to innovate and give its users more facilities, and more ways to be efficient in their activities. Timeline is the perfect example of the ways Microsoft has to make your life easier, by leaving a history of activity at your fingertips.
What is Windows 10 Timeline?
Before explaining how to perform this simple procedure, you should know exactly what Timeline is. This is a feature that Microsoft introduced with the Windows 10 2018 Update, and is characterized by being especially focused on productivity, more than any other previous update.
Among the benefits that Timeline offers is the possibility of reviewing a history of the activity you have had in the system during the last 30 days. And best of all, it can be synced across multiple Windows 10 or Android devices so you have it on hand at all times.
Another very positive aspect of Windows 10 Timeline is that you can delete the activity history very easily; as simple as activating it. So if you are worried about someone checking it, you can forget about that once you turn off Timeline.
Previously, this wonderful tool only allowed synchronization with Microsoft Edge, Microsoft’s browser. However, it is now available to sync all the pages you visit using Google Chrome as well. In the next section, we will tell you how to activate it so you can start enjoying it.
Steps to make Google Chrome history appear in Windows 10 Timeline
If you have already downloaded Windows 10 on your PC, in order to synchronize your Google Chrome history in the Timeline you need an extension called ‘Web Activities’. You can easily get it from the Chrome Web Store, so you will see that it is completely official and not a hack.
Once you have installed the extension, when you click on the ‘Task View’ button on the Windows 10 taskbar, you will see that the pages you have visited using Google Chrome now appear. It would be ideal if you do the whole process with the latest version of Chrome available.
There are some details that you should take into account. First of all, to achieve this synchronization you must have logged in with your Microsoft account in Windows 10. And if you wanted to have it also on your Android device, you would have to log in to it as well.
On the other hand, as is evident, you must have the Windows 10 Timeline activated on your PC to be able to use this Google Chrome extension. But you should not worry about that, in the next section, we will explain in great detail how you can achieve it in the fastest and easiest way.
How do I activate the Windows 10 Timeline?
- Click on the start menu, or press the key with the Windows symbol, and then select the ‘Settings’ box, which looks like a little nut.
- Once you open the configuration menu tab, select the ‘Privacy’ section.

- Immediately after, look for the ‘Activity History’ option in the bar on the left side of the window.
- Make sure the box with the option ‘Allow Windows 10 to collect my activities on this computer’ is checked, as well as check the box that says ‘Allow Windows 10 to synchronize my activities on this computer with the cloud’.
By simply following these simple steps, you will have a Timeline activated, and you will have allowed your history to be synchronized with other devices. If, in addition, you have already installed the ‘Web Activities’ extension, you will have completed the entire process to make the Google Chrome history appear in the Windows 10 Timeline.
We hope this article has been useful to you to synchronize your Google Chrome history with the Windows 10 Timeline. If you liked it, don’t forget to share it with all your contacts.

Apple prepares Apple Music for Windows 10

Good news for you Apple Music users, where reportedly Apple has now tested the Apple Music application at the Microsoft Store. Yep, for now, this version of Apple Music is still a Test and Beta version, but of course, many users expect this application to also be present in Windows 10.
Even though in Windows 10 we can install iTunes, but for iPhone and Mac users who often use Apple Music, the unavailability of this application in Windows 10 can be a big drawback.
Indeed, for now, Apple Music users are forced to open Apple Music Beta via the browser, some of them even make it a PWA, but of course because it is a browser there are a number of shortcomings that are felt, such as web performance which sometimes lags in some animations, and others.
Regarding the project and development of Apple Music from Apple, it is not known when this application will be released publicly, but a number of Insiders and testers, they have received the application via the Microsoft Store as part of Private Testing.
And hopefully, this application is not a PWA version but a UWP version that is stable and comfortable to use.

Microsoft Introduces Voice Typing on Microsoft Edge Chromium

Recently, Microsoft has without notice added a “Voice Typing” function to the context menu on Microsoft Edge Chromium.
This feature is present for you users of the latest Microsoft Edge Chromium Canary, where you just need to right-click on the page or form you are open to write something and then select Start voice typing to start typing via the input voice command.

It’s just like the Voice feature in general, you have to make sure that the Mic is properly installed and functioning properly, then to maximize this feature, you can only enter what voice or command you will type in English only.
But wait, before right-clicking and selecting voice typing, or pressing the Win + H combination key, you must activate the following two things, Optional diagnostic data, and import inking and typing, both of which you can access on the Settings> Privacy page.

Because if not then, you will only find the Dictate feature, it’s different if the two options above have been activated, you will find a menu that comes out of pressing the voice typing button, it will be simpler like the following image.

But even so, sometimes the feature still doesn’t appear for some users, and maybe at this time this feature is still being launched as a controlled rollout, however, this feature in the future it will make Microsoft Edge Chromium even better with Voice typing support which will certainly help some people.

Microsoft fixes the problem with many running Microsoft Edge Update (32 bit) processes

For those of you who don’t know, previously some users experienced a problem where when Microsoft Edge Chromium updated, there were a number of processes that could be said to be multiple, namely the “Microsoft Edge Update (32 bit)” process, the process could run quite a lot, even in the case of I can up to 12 running processes.

Now if you also find the same thing, don’t worry, this is not a process caused by malware, but a bug that Microsoft has admitted itself,
” This process duplication is something the team is aware and rolled out a fix for, however that fix is still rolling out and not everyone has it just yet,” said Microsoft Edge Community Manager, Missy Quarry on the Reddit forum.
Now as Missy Quarry said, this problem will be fixed in the updates that Microsoft releases gradually, so hopefully, you will wait until you get the latest minor updates on Microsoft Edge that you are using.
Regarding this matter, are you also having the same problem? comment below guys.
