How to Quickly Access Network Folders in Windows 10

Accessing a Network Drive or Folder in Windows 10 is fairly easy, we can access it from the Network page in File Explorer, or you can also add Mapping Network Drive in File Explorer.

However, in my case, when we are not connected to the network where the network drive is mapped, then it looks a bit annoying, sometimes there is even a disconnect error which I think is a bit annoying, now about that, here are a few tips for you guys. also experiencing the same thing and want to access Network Drive in Windows 10 quickly.

What is it?, the answer is Quick Access. Yep, who doesn’t know about this feature, with Quick Access, we can Pin any Folder for us to access quickly, including Network Folder. Then how? Here I briefly summarize the steps.

Step 1. First, we go to the shared folder directory on our network. Usually, I use Run Command by entering \IP or \NetBIOS.

Step 2. Please login if prompted, my suggestion is to just save the Windows Credential so that later we no longer need to enter the username and password to access the folder.

Step 3. Finally, you will be shown all the shared folders from your PC/ or Server.

Now just like in the picture above, just drag it to Quick Access, so you can access it from there.

So that’s all maybe my tips, actually, this step is no different from Mapping the folder, but in my opinion by just adding Quick Access, if we are not connected to a network where the Server/PC provides the folder, then there will be no Mapping Error notification because of Disconnect or so.

Like that. Well, please try it guys, I hope these tips are useful, and if there are interesting tips from you, don’t hesitate to comment below guys.

Thank you, hopefully useful.
