OPPO Registers a Foldable Smartphone Patent with a Quite Strange Shape

Currently, there are many well-known smartphone brands that present folding smartphones, even now several Chinese smartphone brands such as Xiaomi have registered several patents for folding smartphones which are predicted to be in development.
It turns out that this is also done by OPPO, it is known that this smartphone brand from China has registered a folding smartphone patent but is known to come with a unique form and concept.

It is known that the patent shows several types of foldable smartphones that are known to be produced by OPPO, this folding smartphone also comes with a structure like a beam and also has a fairly long size.
As information, the four folding smartphone patents registered by Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp Ltd have actually been registered with the Japan Patent Office (JPO) on 11 May, but only received on 2 November 2020.

In this patent, it seems that this folding smartphone made by OPPO presents a quite different folding screen concept, where the smartphone has several folding angles so that the smartphone can produce more screen composition than an ordinary folding smartphone.

So that’s why OPPO also presents a lot of hinges so that it makes the smartphone look like a neatly arranged block.
However, it is not yet known whether the four patents will be realized by OPPO or not. The reason is that OPPO could register this patent so that no other company will steal the idea.

A Mysterious Malware Found on Mac Devices with Apple M1 Chipset

Recently security researchers from security company Red Canary discovered a mysterious malware that attacks a number of Mac devices with Apple’s latest M1 chipset.
The malware, named ‘Silver Sparrow’, is known to attack the victim’s Mac device and will contact a server within an hour.
However, it is not yet known what the malware was doing. The Red Canary itself did not find the malware transferring files from the server to the victim’s device, only contacting the server.
This is what makes this malware very mysterious. Many say that this malware appears to be controlled to be able to launch its attacks when the time is right.
“This malware code is still mysterious because it uses the macOS JavaScript installer to execute commands. This is what makes us check what’s in it,” wrote Red Canary quoted from 9to5Mac.
It was also stated that the Silver Sparrow malware also has a self-destruct mechanism. So the owner of the malware can just delete his malware files if a plan fails.
So far there are 29 thousand Mac devices with the Apple M1 chipset infected with this malware, where these devices are also spread in 153 countries such as the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, and many more.
