Pocophone X2: Features And Price Of The Low-cost Smartphone

Pocophone has presented the Poco X2, the new low-cost mid-range smartphone. Onboard the Snapdragon 730G with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory

February 4, 2020 – Pocophone is back, and it has done so in style. As announced in the previous weeks, the Chinese brand presented the new Poco X2 on the morning of February 4. In recent weeks there has been a lot of talk about this new device: Pocophone is aiming a lot to return to being a protagonist in the world of low-cost smartphones.

Many thought it was the heir of the Pocophone F1, the top low-cost smartphone released in 2018. In reality, the Poco X2 is a smartphone dedicated to a different range: it is a medium-range that focuses entirely on the value of money. The most attentive will have noticed that in reality, the Poco X2 is nothing more than the twin copy of the Redmi K30, a device launched two months ago in China and produced by another company that always belongs to Xiaomi. From design to features, the Poco X2 is practically identical to the Redmi device: only the logo located on the back of the smartphone changes.

Poco X2, the technical sheet

Despite being identical to the Redmi K30, the features of the Poco X2 remain very interesting. Onboard we find a Snapdragon 730G processor, perfect for those who love to play with the smartphone, supported by 6-8GB of RAM and 64/128 / 256GB of internal memory (in total there are three versions available). The memory is expandable via a microSD. The screen has a 6.67-inch diagonal with a FullHD + resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The photographic sector is exciting, especially for the reference market segment. At the rear, we find a 64 Megapixel primary sensor, supported by an 8 Megapixel wide-angle lens and two 2 Megapixel sensors, one dedicated to macro shots, the other to a depth of field. The front camera is also double: primary 20 Megapixel sensor, secondary 2 Megapixel for selfies. The Poco X2 does not have a notch, but a hole in the right side where the two cameras are inserted.

The battery is 4500mAh with support for 27W wireless fast charging. Onboard we find Android 10 customized with the MIUI 11 and the Poco launcher.

Price Little X2

The Poco X2 has so far only been launched in India. It could be one of the devices of the new Mi 10 family.

Prices in India are exciting: the 6GB-64GB version has a cost of just over $220, while for the 6GB-128GB model, the price rises to around $240. For the top variant with 8GB-256GB, you have to shell out about $275.

Not yet given up, BlackBerry is preparing a 5G smartphone with a physical keyboard

BlackBerry 5G:- For those of you who have followed the development of mobile phones before devices such as the iPhone and Android were present, surely you are very familiar with the very popular BlackBerry.

But now the popularity of BlackBerry itself has decreased drastically. Now many people prefer to have an Android or iOS smartphone that comes with various features and high performance.

Even so, it turns out that BlackBerry still hasn’t given up on the phone industry. It is known that now it has collaborated with OnwardMobility to prepare a 5G smartphone that will come with a physical keyboard.

Yes, BlackBerry is still reluctant to follow existing trends and continues to use the physical keyboard that has become the hallmark of the brand.

Unfortunately, there is no information regarding the specifications of the smartphone other than supporting 5G networks. But BlackBerry seems to be overcoming all the shortcomings that were made in their previous smartphones in this new smartphone.

In your opinion, is the use of this physical keyboard still desired by many people? The reason is that many are used to using the on-screen keyboard so it feels strange to return to using a physical keyboard like an old school smartphone.

Not only Apple, Samsung also wants to sell its smartphones at LG-owned stores

Some time ago there were rumors that LG plans to sell Apple’s iPhone at its store in South Korea. Because LG has now decided to stop producing and selling smartphones.

Of course, this makes LG stores in South Korea, named LG Best Shop, have empty spaces that are not used. That’s why Apple wants LG to help them sell their iPhones for South Korea.

But not long after the news circulated, new information emerged saying that a smartphone manufacturer from South Korea, namely Samsung, also wanted to do the same thing, namely selling smartphones in LG’s offline stores.

Based on information from GSMArena, Samsung is now forcing LG not to sell smartphones made by Apple in its stores but to sell smartphones from Samsung only.

It seems that Samsung is afraid that its dominance in South Korea will be defeated by Apple because later the iPhone will be sold at the LG Best Shop. The reason is that currently there are more than 400 LG stores spread across South Korea so they can make a big impact.

It is not known how Samsung will fight this. But all this is just a rumor so it can not be confirmed the truth.

Nokia C20 Plus Announced, Uses Android Go, 6.5-inch Screen, and 4,950 mAh Battery

HMD Global announced the presence of the Nokia C20 last April, and now it is said to have announced the Plus variant which comes with a number of improvements even though it is still in the same category.

Just like the ‘vanilla’ version of the C20, the Nokia C20 Plus still runs the Go edition of the Android 11 operating system and comes with the Unisoc SC9863A SoC.

This smartphone also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage that supports a microSD slot with a capacity of up to 256GB. Of course there is not much that can be expected from this smartphone.

In addition, this smartphone also has a polycarbonate material which HMD Global claims has a strong enough durability for a low-end smartphone.

For the screen itself, this smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch LCD screen that has HD + resolution. Then there is also a waterdrop-shaped notch that presents a 5MP selfie camera.

Oh yes, the rear camera of this smartphone comes with a dual camera setup, with a resolution of 8MP Main Camera and 2MP Depth Sensor.

Comes with two color variants, namely black and blue, it is known that the Nokia C20 Plus will be sold at a price of CNY 699 in China and will be available starting on June 16 later.
