One of the planned announcements for the Mobile World Congress 2020 is the presentation of the Sony Xperia 5 plus, a high-end device of the Japanese company that has just revealed its possible camera configuration.
At the end of February, if there is not a last-minute change, the Mobile World Congress 2020 will be held in Barcelona. With it, the leading technological players in the market, specifically mobile phone companies, will announce their next major releases and one of them. It will be Sony.
Sony has sent invitations to the press to attend next February 24 in Barcelona to the presentation event where they will supposedly announce the Sony Xperia 5 plus, also known as the Xperia 1.1. Until now, we knew very few details about this high-end device of the Japanese company, but after one last filtration, we would understand its camera configuration.
In principle, according to this leak, the Sony Xperia 5 Plus would offer a configuration of five cameras on the rear panel. One of them would be a 12 Mpx primary camera with a sensor size of 1 / 1.5 “. It would also carry an ultra-wide-angle camera of 12 Mpx, with a sensor size of 1 / 3.4 inches, a 64MP sensor with a sensor 1 / 1.7 inches, a 2MP ToF sensor, and another periscope sensor with optical image stabilization.
In principle, it would have vertical alignment of the camera sensors in the rear, so it seems that Sony will bet heavily on the photographic section in this new device.
What has been leaked before is that the Sony Xperia 5 Plus would launch with a 6.6-inch OLED panel that looks 21: 9. You could end up using an eight-core Snapdragon 855 processor with a Mali 640 GPU, and a standard configuration of 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
It could end up launching the market with an Android 10 operating system, with a security system of the fingerprint scanner and facial unlocking, and possibly with a battery equal to or greater than 4000 mAh, which is what is recommended for this type of processors.
Not only Apple, Samsung also wants to sell its smartphones at LG-owned stores
Some time ago there were rumors that LG plans to sell Apple’s iPhone at its store in South Korea. Because LG has now decided to stop producing and selling smartphones.
Of course, this makes LG stores in South Korea, named LG Best Shop, have empty spaces that are not used. That’s why Apple wants LG to help them sell their iPhones for South Korea.
But not long after the news circulated, new information emerged saying that a smartphone manufacturer from South Korea, namely Samsung, also wanted to do the same thing, namely selling smartphones in LG’s offline stores.
Based on information from GSMArena, Samsung is now forcing LG not to sell smartphones made by Apple in its stores but to sell smartphones from Samsung only.
It seems that Samsung is afraid that its dominance in South Korea will be defeated by Apple because later the iPhone will be sold at the LG Best Shop. The reason is that currently there are more than 400 LG stores spread across South Korea so they can make a big impact.
It is not known how Samsung will fight this. But all this is just a rumor so it can not be confirmed the truth.
Nokia C20 Plus Announced, Uses Android Go, 6.5-inch Screen, and 4,950 mAh Battery
HMD Global announced the presence of the Nokia C20 last April, and now it is said to have announced the Plus variant which comes with a number of improvements even though it is still in the same category.
Just like the ‘vanilla’ version of the C20, the Nokia C20 Plus still runs the Go edition of the Android 11 operating system and comes with the Unisoc SC9863A SoC.
This smartphone also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage that supports a microSD slot with a capacity of up to 256GB. Of course there is not much that can be expected from this smartphone.
In addition, this smartphone also has a polycarbonate material which HMD Global claims has a strong enough durability for a low-end smartphone.
For the screen itself, this smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch LCD screen that has HD + resolution. Then there is also a waterdrop-shaped notch that presents a 5MP selfie camera.
Oh yes, the rear camera of this smartphone comes with a dual camera setup, with a resolution of 8MP Main Camera and 2MP Depth Sensor.
Comes with two color variants, namely black and blue, it is known that the Nokia C20 Plus will be sold at a price of CNY 699 in China and will be available starting on June 16 later.
Renders of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE with New Color Variants Appear on the Internet
Currently, Samsung is said to be preparing a new smartphone, namely the Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) which comes at a cheaper price than the original model of the Galaxy S21 Series.
After the first leak of this smartphone appeared in April, now a render of the Galaxy S21 FE has reappeared, which is known to come in several different color variants.
Uploaded by a well-known leaker named Evan Blass, four color variants of the Galaxy S21 FE are shown, namely black, green, purple, and white.
This smartphone is also seen to come with a 3 rear camera setup that has a layout similar to the Galaxy S21. This is what makes the smartphone easily known as the Galaxy S21 FE.
Previously, the Galaxy S21 FE which comes with the model number SM-G990B has appeared on Geekbench where the smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 888 chipset, 6GB RAM, and runs Android 11.
In addition, this smartphone will also have a 6.41-inch AMOLED screen and come with a punch hole in the middle with a 32MP resolution selfie camera.
Until now there has been no official information from Samsung regarding the presence of the Galaxy S21 FE. It is predicted that the smartphone will be mass produced in July and sold in the 4th quarter of 2021.
